About Me
I am a current freshman at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering. I currently plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am also a member of the Duke Track and Field team.
Name Pronunciation
My first name, Lindsey, is pronounced "Lind-Z." I am very particular that it is spelled correctly, with the "ey" at the end, and not "ay," which should be pronounced "Lind-zay" don't you think? My last name, Olivere, is pronounced "olive-EAR," a lovely combination of the popular Greek export (although I'm Italian...) and the body part.

MATLAB Demonstration Review: Traveling Salesman
The "Traveling Salesman" demo which animated the solution of the "Traveling Salesman Problem," or how to form a closed circuit of the least distance between a specified number of US Cities, was definitely my favorite! I loved this demo because when I opened the code for this demonstration in the Editor window, there were a large number of applications of MATLAB commands which we have been using in class and learning in lab, such as if and switch trees and "nargin." It was very cool to see how the simple problems we are solving in class can be expanded to build a more elaborate code like this one.
