Grand Challenges for Engineering
The Grand Challenges for Engineering are 14 goals set by the National Academy of Engineers as the most important engineering challenges at present. The goals include environmental and energy-related challenges, such as making solar energy economical, health-related concerns, including to engineer better medicines, and security goals, including preventing nuclear terror, among others.
