The Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration was my favorite of the demonstrations I looked at as part of Homework 2. I thought it was cool how this showed how it is possible to use MATLAB to break things down to a very small scale like the acceleration during a one second period to observe real life examples. The 3-D graphs toward the end of the demonstration were also helpful because they clearly displayed what the data looked like even in three dimensions.

MATLAB Demonstrations

The Loma Prieta Earthquake demonstration was my favorite of the demonstrations I looked at as part of Homework 2. I thought it was cool how this showed how it is possible to use MATLAB to break things down to a very small scale like the acceleration during a one second period to observe real life examples. The 3-D graphs toward the end of the demonstration were also helpful because they clearly displayed what the data looked like even in three dimensions.
