The life of Justin Kim
Early Childhood
Justin Kim was born on June 29, 1999 in Silver Spring, MD to parents Martin Kim and Insook Kim. His father burned him in the sun on accident while trying to rid of his jaundice at two months. He moved to Boyds, Maryland at the tender age of four, where he met his best friend Robbie, who promptly moved away to Florida.
Elementary School
Justin attended Spark Matsunaga Elementary School. In the fifth grade, he was a patrol officer and also sang a solo in a Footloose musical. On his soccer team, he got five minutes of playing time per game because he was too slow and fat to run after the ball.
Middle School
Justin Kim was the top student at Kingsview Middle School and excelled in swimming, piano, band, and academics. He took higher level math at the local high school and won the county championship in the 50m Freestyle. He also got his first kiss during this time. She now swims at Harvard University.
High School
Justin Kim was accepted to Poolesville High School's Science, Math, and Computer Science program, directed by Mark Curran. He was captain of the swim team and shaved his head into an Avatar arrow in sophomore year. His mom nearly killed him. Though his senioritis was rough, he was accepted to Duke University.
College
Justin now attends Duke University where he majors in electrical and computer engineering and computer science.
Interests
Justin enjoys hanging out with friends, eating, and watching Marvel movies in his free time. He is a part of Duke's club swimming and water polo teams.
