I am in Class 2016 of Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. I have not decided my major(s).

Name Pronunciation

My Chinese name Xinyun Zou sounds like "Shin Yon Zoe". "Xinyun" is my first name, and "Zou" is my last name.

In China, people would like to put the last name in front of the first name when calling someone. With my name as an example, it should be pronounced by the traditional way similar to "Zoe Shin Yon".

Favorite Demonstration in MATLAB

My favorite demonstration in MATLAB is 3-D Plots, because it can

visually display models which are hard to imagine through mathematical formula,

most effectively show 3-D graphs by simply adding color commands,

and convert 3-D into 2-D sketches to emphasis useful data.
